What do we do?

For a general service, we conduct the following tasks:

• Clean, lube and adjust derailleurs
• Clean and lubricate the chain
• Lube brake and gear cables
• Adjust brakes and gears
• In bike wheel true
• Grease front hub without disassembly
• Clean braking surface of rims/rotors
• Clean faces of brake blocks
• Frame wipe down, clean dirt away from bearings
• Tighten mudguards, racks, lights etc
• Inflate tyres

What do we check?

We conduct the following checks:

• Inspect bicycle for potential problems i.e. frame/fork alignment
• Check for play in bottom bracket and head bearings
• Check operation of suspension forks
• Check pedal bearing adjustment
• Inspect tyres for cuts and glass
• Check both seatpost and headstem (quill) will move in frame and fork
• Advise of any safety issues

What does it cost?

The cost of service is $80 (inc GST).  Additional labour or parts are provided at an additional cost and we provide a quote that is as accurate as possible upon booking.  We contact you for your approval where additional costs more than $10 above quote are identified, unless agreed otherwise.
