Spokes

We stock and recommend DT Swiss Stainless steel spokes.

We normally have in the shop good quantities of silver Champion spokes, 2.0mm 14 straight gauge @ 80c ea, and silver Alpine III Triple butted 2.34/13gauge head, 1.8/15g shaft, 2.0/14g threaded section @ $1.50ea, in sizes from 250mm to 315mm for Champion, 250 to 300mm for Alpine.

The Champion spokes are also available in black @ $2.00ea.

We recommend Champion for rebuilding rear wheels on newish bicycles with spoke failure, Alpine for heavier duty use such as loaded touring or hard commuting. We guarantee out wheel building for at least 12 months. 

We also use Competition 1.8mm/15g with 2.0/14g threaded ends, Revolution 1.5mm/17g shaft with 2.0mm ends, both available in silver and black, where ultimate lightness rather than durability is the aim.

Super Comp 14/16/15g, New Aero elliptical 14/19g, Aero Speed, and AeroLite are also available.

 We also supply lower quality Stainless and Chrome plated spokes when requested, approx 50c ea, in sizes ranging from 75mm to 311mm.
