An important factor in keeping your leather saddle performing well is adjusting the tension. As leather saddles perform a ‘hammock’ function, they will need adjusting after a time. A softening of the leather of the saddle will need to be accounted for by adjusting the tension in the nose. This is easily done, and does not need to be done often! Every 6 to 12 months is a good window of time. We often include this in the service of bike, for example.
