If you have not replaced the stock pedals on your bike since you purchased it, you have come to the right place.
The pedals that come stock on a new bike are generally test pedals, designed to be test ridden only. You will find that stock pedals have a fair amount of resistance when spinning. Or even a grinding & gravelly feel to them underfoot. This is common in pedals that do not have sealed bearings.
You will find however, that MKS pedals & toe clips will change your cycling experience. They have sealed bearings, and the bearings are hardened steel. In fact MKS have extremely high standards when it comes to quality control.
